Adventures of a Dwarf Priest

Here is Blizzard’s official first draft 1.9 patch notes. I don’t know how accurate they are but they look real enough. A few things I’m concerned with. They made it so food buffs no longer stack. I hope this means we are going to get some new awesome recpies which is why they did that. Otherwise I see no reason for it. They took away the snare off Storm Form the dwarven racial ability, increased the armor it gives and decreased how long it lasts. It wasn’t that long to begin with so I hope that armor increase is a lot!

From the Priests Section:

• Martyrdom – This talent will now trigger on melee special abilities as well as on melee swings. The tooltip has been clarified to indicate this ability only works on melee strikes.
• Mind Blast – Threat raised on ranks 7, 8, and 9. Incorrect data had been entered in those spells, resulting in less threat generated than designed.
• Blackout – The stun effect’s duration no longer diminishes or is diminished by controlled stun abilities and spells (e.g. Cheap Shot, Hammer of Justice, Charge etc…).

The change to Martyrdom is lame since it wasn’t that useful to begin with. I am hoping they throw away Martyrdom and Focus Casting in 1.10 and replace it with something more useful. I only use Mind Blast when I solo so I care not about the agro increase and well I’ve never been a Shadow Priest so I care not about Blackout.

I also saw a post on the guild board that said the Renew effect that comes from the Trascendence set bonus off GHeal is going to stack with Renew in 1.9. That is cool I suppose if I someday get my hands on full Trascendence. Right now I’m just really wanting 1 more piece for the 15% additional regen bonus.
