Adventures of a Dwarf Priest

Reflections

So I had been thinking yesterday about how much time I have spent in Azeroth and dug up a few old screenshots. This is my second Laneer I believe. I started playing WoW in the original stress test. I bought a gamespy account just so I could play I was excited about the game. At the time I was all about Druids though. I actually started a Priest because I was sure I would never play one ever again. I didn’t want to spoil my main character. The problem was I ended up enjoying the Priest so much I didn’t want to play anything else for a long time.

This is a shot of one of my first experiences with PvP on the test server during Stress Test 1. I had always wanted to play on a PvP server. I felt it was an part of the WoW story and experience. Outside PvP was fun, I really hope they figure out a way to invigorate that once again. I sometimes miss the old days of city raids and group PvP. Now you can’t really get good PvP unless you go in a Battle Ground.

So here we are a shot of me from the second day after launch I believe. It was a difficult first week in WoW with server stability issues and over crouding. Of course we still have some of these stability issues. I would have thought 65 million a month would have solved them by now :)

And now here I am 41 days, 8 hours later. I know as far as played time plenty of people beat me hands down. Still though that is a lot of ones life. That is almost 1000 hours into this one character. The amazing thing is though this game is still fun. Blizzard is still living up to my expectations and for the first time since I began playing MMORPG’s back in the day I don’t care what new MMO’s are coming out in the future.
