Adventures of a Dwarf Priest

First Beta Day

Ok I don’t have any screenshots on me to post, and blogger is still being stupid about me uploading images.

However I can’t stress enough how absolutely amazing Burning Crusades has been so far. I have mostly explored but there is some absolutely amazing things to see and do in this expansion. I am sure everyone will be very pleased with it!

After I got on I was greeted with the most earie thing I had ever seen…A completely empty IronForge. I visited my training, speced up with my healing spec to play with and bought my spells. I was surprised to find I could buy the AQ20 spells as well! I was quite amazing I was throwing around 1500 Flash Heals! I later found out that the healing talents are now applied AFTER +healing making them actually scale now. I can’t recall my Gheal numbers but they were on order of a full heal for me :p

I set off to Blasted lands after that was taken care of. The portal and the area around the portal looked a little different. Going through the portal I arived on the other side to see NPCs battling several giant infernals. Both Alliance and Horde were fighting them together.

I ran off to the main alliance city in the zone. I found the Grand Master enchanter and picked up a few recipies as well as tailor. In tailoring we get to make nets! How awesome is that. In enchanting we get to make a rod that can be used for all other enchants as a universal rod.

I ran off after that, didn’t explore Hellfire Peninsula much because I figure I’ll be questing there and see it then. So I ran off through Zangarmarsh over to Nagrand into Terokkar Forest and over to Shadowmoon Valley. Shadowmoon Valley seemed largely unpopulated with mobs aside from some Naga. You’ll see in the screenshots I get up later. I visited Wildhammer Stronghold there and saw the griffons. I really want a white one :) The Black Temple is pretty damn impressive looking.

Like I said earlier the expansion is amazing. I was amazing at all the new models, the amazing looking scenery it is just fantastic. You can tell plenty is not finished yet so it is only going to get more amazing.

The only thing I can truthfully say I was disapointed with was Circle of Healing had a very unimpressive animation. I wanted some kind of circle on the ground around the target or something. Instead you see like 3 diamonds around the persons head for like 2 seconds that kinda move around them.
