Adventures of a Dwarf Priest

I actually got home from work early enough and with enough energy to get Beta and what happens they just shut down the servers to patch them. It wasn’t a large patch, just 40MB. I did some other things for a few hours and came back and it was just coming up. The first thing we found out is that they upped the exp required to level as much as almost 300k depending on what level you were. I went from something like 49% to level to 56% to level. The second thing I noticed as Holy Fire has its original spell graphic back, yay! The casting animation is still wrong though :b

So I decided to do a Burning Furnace group. It went well and for once completely different things dropped off the last two bosses. The ugly squid guy dropped me the healing trinket Auslese’s Light Channeler. It has a neat clicky to reduce the cost of your next spell by 215 mana with a 3 minute cool down. I used it often

Then I took a break for dinner and came back to find a Underbog group. I hadn’t been there yet and I wanted to see it.

The Underbog is filled with many of the new creature models and kinda reminds me a little of Maraudon. Lots of the mobs like to disease in there so going without a priest or paladin would not be fun

This is the first boss in there, the guy in the middle. I almost lost this fight cause they explained to me to watch out for these mushrooms that pop up. What did I do? I was pain so close attention to the tank I didn’t see a mushroom pop up next to me and I got 2 of these debufs stacked on me that hurt like hell. What did I forget to do? Use pain suppression :b I thought about it after the fight hehe Anyway I barely managed to heal through everything, the paladin helped me out though he was a retribution paladin :b

This was the last boss who they told me was really mean but he was actually much easier than the other 3. This dungeon has 4 bosses in it breaking the mold of 3 I had been seeing.

On one of the earlier bosses Swamplord Musel’ek I picked up the Zangartooth Shortblade to use when I’m solo/questing, got a green offhand to go with it too. It is quite the nice +damage dagger. For completing the 2 part quest which has you do The Slave Den and The Underbog once I got this nifty Cenarion Ring of Casting.

Oh and thanks to Citan I believe who made me a fel rod I now have Runed Fel Iron Rod for enchanting
