Adventures of a Dwarf Priest

I logged in earlier this morning to check my order to make sure it shipped and the site was being very unresponsive. Before you knew it the order tracking page wouldn’t even load and people were reporting they didn’t see their orders when they logged in anymore.

All the people slaming the server to check on their orders apparently owned them quite nicely. They have replaced the normal order tracking site with:

“Due to system maintenance our order status system is temporarily unavailable. Please do not call our customer service center as they share the same system and do not have additional information. We apologize for the inconvenience; please check back later.

World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade orders are shipping today, on schedule, out of our Louisville, Kentucky distribution center. If you placed an order before 2:00pm (cst) on Monday January 15, 2007, and have NOT received an email from us requesting additional payment processing information, your Burning Crusade order should ship today at the shipping service level you requested.”

So we headed out this evening to retrieve the rest of the beads from the silly ogres. They were more cooperative this time it seemed anyways. We got the beads and snuck into the library to turn everything in.

The guy then asked for 8 Large Brilliant Shards, 4 Dark Runes and some sort of Eldreth Essence. So we ran on over to DM West and got our selves one second try after reseting the instance. Then I just happen to have 3 Dark Runes in the bank, and Inian found 1 on the aunction house. It’s as if it was meant to be!

Then we ran over for the final part an engagement over at the ring of law in BRD. Well this part didn’t go so well we got schooled by the 5 mob party pretty quick. So I check guild to see if anyone wanted to come help Inian and I complete this and Cephalopod and Maehlin (who was about to go to bed) volunteered to assist! It was quite the chaotic fight people running to and fro, polymorphs and fears a flying. When the dust settled we were all alive and they were all dead. Inian and I appreciate Cephalopod and Maehlin very much for the assistance in the last leg of his quest. I think we did pretty good duoing the quest up to this point

Finally Inian ran and did the turn ins and received 3 more pieces of Sorcerer’s I guess. I thought it was just the boots but that was the piece he really wanted. Here he is in all of it though he hates the Shoulders
