Adventures of a Dwarf Priest

I stopped in earlier in the afternoon while my son was sleeping and ran a daily and ended up helping us secure the towers. I was hoping to make use of them when I got on later. After that I had for whatever reason went over to the Nightelf starting area and was doing quests for faction.

I had logged out there and when I came back later in the evening the first thing I saw was a newbie saying a horde was in the graveyard causing problems. I went over there and sure enough I found a level 70 hunter named Epicwar. Remember this name and kill him if you see him for he is truly a bastard. After I dispatched him which was easier than I thought it would be a nightelf warrior walked up to me named Imanightelf. Apparently it was that horde, he had a trial account he was using to watch the trouble he was causing.

What he was doing as he explained to me he tamed a level 1 boar, and would run it around and get the people questing there to attack it. Then he would grief the poor newbie players over and over. He said he was doing it because they annoyed him but I think he does this all the time. I saw his body over there earlier when I was questing wondering why it was there. So he tells me how he is a big shot and I would have never beat him if he didn’t have a level 1 pet cause he is beastmastery blah blah I wish I had captured the whole conversation. He was walking his guy back the whole time apparently the horde rez on the other side of the island.

So he comes back and wants to fight me again I run over and kill him. He gets really pissed but I’m trying to convince him to leave people alone. So I go ahead and report him. I came back later still found him doing it but he kept running away from me like a wuss. I mean he is in full PvP gear and I’m just a squishy Priest :b I ended up talking to a GM before I started a SL run, I hope they ban him for a bit for that.

So I did get into an SL run though it took way longer than I expected. We didn’t have any CC besides the hunters ice trap but for the most part we did ok. We had a warlock that was sort of new to the zone never having got past the second boss. We took forever killing him but I never felt like we wouldn’t do it at least.

On the 3rd boss I had to argue the tank out of wanting to do the run around method. I had already died several times due to neglect and I wasn’t about to wipe because he wanted to run around. I insisted and the dps druid backed me up. We killed him no problem.

We wiped twice on Murmur which was kind of annoying because I was already tired and it was late and I wanted to go to bed. We took so long we lost the buff so we didn’t get spirit shards off him. The first failure the tank didn’t run back he stopped to heal himself instead of letting me do it and then we all got ranged to death. So the n the DPS druid tanked, he didn’t have as many HP but he had done it before so that was going well until he caught a sonic boom and then got nailed badly before my heal went off. It would have been fine but the tank didn’t pick it up very well. He ran in and then out because of sonic boom then when he ran in again he went cat form instead…He died we tried all sorts there at the end because he was at 1 or 2%.

Last time we managed to pull it off thank goodness. He dropped the damage sword and some shaman mail. The silly warlock who really needed that sword greeded it I guess not realizing it was a cast sword and the tank druid had greeded too everyone else passed and so of course the druid won. I don’t get why people don’t pass when they know we are DE’ing stuff people don’t want…

Oh well it was an adventure. I’m like 43% into Lower City Revered now. So only about 6 more SL runs and I can have my Gavel of Unearthed Secrets.
