Adventures of a Dwarf Priest

Sorry for the lack of updates lately.  Some how I haven’t found the time to get in and tell some stories.  Not that there hasn’t been any of course, just not the energy to tell them

As you can see by my Achievements I have been up to some things   I’ve finished out enchanting to 450 now, and am just a few enchants shy of having all the WOTLK ones.  Still working on tailoring, apparently points 440-450 are total hell!  I have 5 points left to do in Cooking as well which is also the only thing keeping me from my Chef title   I just haven’t had the time to go farm materials to skill-up.  I might actually wait until 3.1 because more things will let you get to 450 as well.

Been racking up the badges so I can buy some DPS gear to go with my Dual Spec come 3.1.  I’m still leery about what Dual Spec will do to the game, but I see no reason to not use it at this point.  Most of my gear will transfer to DPS Spec fine, but I will want to probably swap out a few pieces to up my hit.  I’ll probably get the offhand, maybe the neck and trinket.

Speaking of Trinkets I did a 25 OS on Sunday and the Illustration of the Dragon Soul droopped, and guess who won it?   I think about 7 of us rolled on it, thankfully we didn’t have a lot of caster DPS, most of my competition was the healers   I rolled a 97 though and the closest someone got to me was with a 94.  This trinket will be great for both Disc and Shadow modes

The one likely change for me personally from Dual Spec is I will be less likely to play my other characters I think. This will probably make it easier for me to make Laneer even more uber I wonder how many other Hybrid players will likely do this?  Since Laneer has always been my main he has the most spiffy things, money, etc.  If I can go from heal mode, to dps mode on whim with him then I don’t see any need to switch to another character to fill that need, not to mention making my dailies and farming go faster

Speaking of Dailies I am only 5 or 6 days from Exalted with the Sons of Hodir, and The Oracles.  Finishing these will complete my farmable WOTLK reps.  I still have that one that isn’t in the game yet, and the Explorer’s League which only has one quest to up it.  Those 2 will bring me to 30 exalted factions though.  I will need to finish some old world ones to get me closer to the Exalted title.  Once they are done I think it will be one of the first times I’ve ever caught up to the content flow from Blizzard.  Which is amazing because I have even less play time now than I used to.
