Still Waiting

Still waiting on my cataclysm invite, none yet though 
at least we have had lots of great info coming out lately. The new 31pt talents have been interesting but still need a lot of work. Very interested in seeing how the smite mechanics they added in disc work out. I even got one of my questions answered about it in yesterdays dev chat!
Q. I’m excited about the Smite mechanic in Disc. Are you going to do anything about hit so that mechanic can be effective?
A. We had a talent to give you a bunch of spell hit in a beta build, but spell hit on your offensive spells is a hard sell in the new talent model. But yes, we want to do something about spell hit for the Discipline Archangel specialization, possibly move up Twisting Faith to a tier that Discipline can obtain it in Shadow (so your spirit would convert to hit as Discipline/Shadow sub-specialization).
I’ve still mostly been working only goblin factions lately and farming gold. Also picking up stuff here and there for my future worgen warrior. Decided on a new name for him, Cosain which in Irish means to protect. Also trying to pickup frost badges when I can each day to grab my 4piece bonus and get to the stupid 5500gs so I can try the new ruby sanctum.

I love the 31 pt talent system coming. Point ever other level and in between you learn skills from trainers. Also, at level 10 you will feel like the class more. Imagine a level 10 warrior with most of his skills instead of waiting until 60 to find out if you like it. I see many positive changes. Can’t wait, laterz!

I think the specialization at level 10 is a long time coming. With the old system is was a long long ways before you really felt like your spec. Like a Shadow Priests for instance didn’t feel like a shadow Priest for 40 levels or so.
Being Disc never really meant much of anything until we got the iconic Penance spell in WOTLK and it was the right choice to give that at level 10. I think the new PW:Barrier will become just as defining.
I can’t wait to see how these trees continue to develop!
