Ogre Genocide

by on Dec.02, 2007, under Farming, PvP

Inian decided tonight was a cow night so we got on and Mooku and Mooshu went and committed much Ogre genocide for fun and faction. We ended up with soooo much netherweave to put up on the AH too. I had a ton of beeds to turn into the consortium and ended up with tons of faction for what’s there faces as well. Then as we were finishing up some death and destruction the allies decided to make a move on Halaa. So we went to help defend it. We ended up fighting a warlock in S3 gear who had 12k HP and 452 resilience he was most defended. When I hit him I felt as if I was barely scratching him. We ended up getting some tokens, the ally attacks were a little too few and far between for my tastes.Later we were turning in our beads at the consortium camp when we had some skuffles with the alliance. I didn’t realize the consortium didn’t defend you as I got attacked when I arrived at the camp. Then Mooshu me and another Shaman made them pay for what they did over and over. It was funny because one of the people we were making suffer was a paladin. We actually ended up being victims of the famed Bubble Hearth!! I can’t believe I should have took a screenshot but couldn’t believe my eyes.Fun night anways, every time we make excursions over here I remember how much I love playing my druid and want to play him more.

Woot! 70!

by on Nov.05, 2007, under Gameplay

Yes I finally turned 70 on Mooku! Don’t really get anything I was terribly excited about. I have silly cyclone now anyways. I did a minor respec when I trained shifting some points around a little.

On side note I am also just shy of 1000 gold into my epic flight skill money. I know I said I’d never go through that again but bird form is so damn fun, and epic bird form would be that much more fun :) Plus I have only had to buy skills, and didn’t have to buy regular flight skill so it should be easier to save up. After I finish Nagrand out I have the quests in Blade’s Edge, Shadowmoon, and Netherstorm to earn some gold in too.

Ack! Black Cat!

by on Oct.30, 2007, under Gameplay

I got on to get a little more honor I needed and a cat walked by me. I don’t know which occurred first, but my instinct was to smack it for some reason so I did. Then i realized hey that was a black cat how funny. Then I look up and noticed the debuff on me :)

AV Weekend

by on Oct.29, 2007, under Gameplay

I decided to take advantage of AV weekend to try and get enough honor for the improved get out of CC free trinket. 5 minutes is much too long of cooldown on the old one.

I got turned into a pirate gnome while we waited to start, don’t I look cute.

I wasn’t having a lot of winning luck this night. It seemed the alliance was always just slightly faster than us. We would be killing van and we would loose. Once we had van at 5% and we lost.

Pain and Suffering

by on Oct.26, 2007, under Gameplay

I’ve been unguilded since I started playing on Akama with Mooku. That can be both a good and a bad thing. You don’t feel obligated to anyone, you can get on and do whatever you want and not worry about anything. However the disadvantages far out weight the advantages. You have no one to share trade skills with, no tailor access for bags, no access for enchants, constant random invites from every joe blow to there silly guild, no one to chat with when Mooshu isn’t on, and no one to group with.

One of the reasons I remained unguilded was I didn’t want to do what I already have on Laneer on Deathwing. On Doomhammer I’m in my old EQ guild which is fun. Deathwing has always been my main server and where I have the most time devoted. Akama is where I’ve always gone for both the Horde experience, and mostly more pvp experience. So finally heard an advertisement while I was in town for a guild called Pain and Suffering. The advertisement was they were a pvp guild, do pvp related activities together, and kill a lot of alliance :) I was very much in tune with that, plus it has a great pvp guild name :) . I finally caught the guy online again today and joined up. We’ll see how my first guild attempt on Akama goes!

Halaa

by on Oct.20, 2007, under Gameplay

Mooshu and Mooku did a few quests this evening. I had ran over to hellfire to learn a new leatherworking patern, my last one, one of the drums. Of course the drum isn’t really usable till 2.3 when the mats become reasonable.

Halloween was in the air that is for sure :)

After we finished Mooshu left and I stayed around and had some good fun defending Halaa. It was quite fun I think Halaa is the best of the outdoor pvp. I’m really looking forward to the expansions new pvp ZONE :)

Oh They Do Like Me

by on Oct.16, 2007, under Gameplay

Inian and I decided to make it a cow night so I went and met him over in Terokkar.

We were doing some of his quests when I said something about have done everything except the ones from this camp since I’m Scryer. I thought the faction was either Aldor, or Alliance. I have seriously never seen any horde at this camp since on Deathwing or Doomhammer. However it turned out that I could get the quests, even the one where you help the dwarves! So I was running around doing these with Mooshu.

We did both the time consuming group quests. The silly giant worm guy pictured here, and the giant skele dragon as well. Both quests are kind of anoying because on the worm one you always end up with a bunch of sand gnomes attacking you (lol) or regular sized worms before you get the main even. The giant skele dragon requires you to get 20 skulls so you have to kill 50 of the guys around his spot because apparently only every other one has a head. Luckily Mooshu and I kill them in literally like 5 seconds.

More Power!

by on Oct.15, 2007, under Gameplay

After our little bit of running around on Deathwing we came over to the cows. I had been wanting to finish that last quest I had in Terokkar to get another Attack Power Trinket to cycle through.

This quest is still bugged and we were worried we wouldn’t be able to catch the guy before he despawned without mage aoe :) We ended up doing it with a combination totems and sitting :)

We ran over to do the signal fires quest and found there were 3 allies there. We avoided them and did the quest anyways. The level 70 kept eyeing Mooshu, he didn’t know I was there. Finally Mooshu went for the last one and the guy swooped down and attacked. I swooped down on him but he managed to get mooshu down, while I continued to beat on him he decided to run. I chased after him and it would have been all over for him but I had respeced a little earlier and feral charge wasn’t where it was suppose to be! Anyways I did end up killing him but a bunch of mobs he managed to get to got me as well. He got learned though! Mooshu finished his quest.

Fun evening though. I got to remember to record these fun altercations hehe

First Visit To Nagrand

by on Oct.12, 2007, under Gameplay

Ok I’ve been sneaking ahead of Mooshu pushing forwards towards my flight form. I finally finished all but one group quest in Terokkar and a few instance quests. So it was time to move on, Bladesedge is not something I wanted to do without flying, so I choose Nagrand. Lots of things to skin, should be fun :) Never been the horde down there so time to check it out.

On the way there I started running into these carts that were not textured. There was even a few of them in the city like that. I saw tons of them in the orc city too once I got there. I did a few quests around the city and managed to get within 6% of my flight form, woot! Perhaps I can squeeze in some late night questing tomorrow and finish it out!

I only had one PvP run in, and it was level 70 warrior fishing. I thought I give it a try. Couple of mistakes, I forgot to make sure I was buffed before I went in. Second I think I gave up a little too early. Just before I lost I had him down to 37%, I think if I would have gone all out, and been buffed perhaps I would have been able to get him :) We’ll see next time!

Missed Kara

by on Sep.23, 2007, under Gameplay

Well I missed getting back in game in time for Kara today. Family stuff always comes before entertainment after all :)

So I decided initially to go over to Akama and try to get my flight form. I’m 67 and I have the riding skill and I only need like half a level. I decide to try for an instance.

We end up trying to do durnhold. This is my cow as a human, how handsome am I? :) It ended up being an utter disaster. We wiped once to the hunter dragging his pet through the camp in aggressive mode. Then we wiped when no one could understand we needed to CC some of the mobs. The Healer went “offline” and the DPS warrior hearth so I left too.

Then I went over to Doomhammer. Inien eventually joined me as he was having all sorts of unluck over on Deathwing. We did a Sethek Halls run and I got screwed out of completing one of the quests again! I am missing the mask off the first boss on both Mooku and Laneer now. We did the whole instance and I managed to lead the damage meters even against the level 70 hunter :)

After we finished I stayed up late to finish a few quests in the marsh I never finished. Inien is like a half a level ahead of me so I was trying to catch back up!
