Jealousy
by Laneer on Sep.28, 2009, under Questing, WoW
After the day I had there was just no energy left over for WoW. I got on but just couldn’t make up my mind what I wanted to do with my low energy levels. Then I see Inien (grats btw) get his sewer rat! He was just doing the fishing daily and got it by pure luck. I had been hoping that would happen to me too but for some reason I have a feeling the game is going to make me work for it
I’m closing in on the 100 pet mark and that Rat would help out on that
So out of pure jealousy I fished for a little over a half an our in the sewer before bed. I didn’t have the energy for anything else anyways. Fishing is pretty relaxing for the most part (not RL fishing though). Of course all that fishing did not yield me a rat, just a lot of bones, carp and vials. Hopefully this isn’t like Mr Pinchy whom I never actually caught during BC and only got afterward even though the amount I used to fish during BC was at least 5 to 10 times more
What I should have done is updated my addons. I noticed I’m getting pretty far behind in versions. I still do mine by hands now, I haven’t wanted to trust any of the new applications. I really miss wowace, I hate that they got merged into curse
I plan to update my UI section as I do this update because I know it is out of date. I’ll try and do that tonight
Chuck!
by Laneer on Sep.16, 2009, under Questing
Did my Outlands fishing daily and it was gators in Stormwind. I stopped by the cathedral to spec out of Holy healing on my second spec and into my Holy DPS/Survival spec. Discipline stays my primary healing spec
I went to turn in the quest before heading out and to my surprise I got Chuck! In fact I was so excited I clicked him to learn it while I was flying over and nearly went splat(yay levitate)! I now have 2 of the 3 in just a few days. Considering my previous luck I have no idea how it happened
Hoping I’ll have enough energy to actually do something tomorrow, still too tired
Zul’Gurub Carnage

Just when I got on this evening I see Tue was recruiting to do a mount run on ZG. They were also going to make a pit stop on the fish boss for Turtle Books. I decided to join and wanted to attempt Hakkar my only classic Raid achievement I didn’t have.
We ended up going with 2 other guild Priests besides me, Inien and Tue. It looks really funny when all 3 of us popped our Mind Sear
I kept thinking of Ghost Busters, don’t cross the beams!
Our Hakkar attempts didn’t go to well without a second tank. The silly guy kept mind controlling me and I’d end up killing everyone. We made a few tries at it then decided we’d come back with another tank next time.
In one of the attempts I drank a bunch of Pygmy Oil and turned into a Pygmy Gnome, and then Inien threw baby spice on me so I was about as big as a critter!
After the Hakkar attempt everyone left but Inien and I. We stayed for some rep farming fun. Now that they changed it so you get full rep even when you out level an area you could effectively farm rep here.
I was sitting at just about Revered when we started and got a little over 12% rep while we were in there.
We did two bosses after everyone left as well. We might be able to do others but we only tried two. The Snake boss was super easy I figured he would be. Then we went to bat lady. I assumed she would be super easy too, but I forgot about her healing… Inien and I fought with her for 14 minutes till we FINALLY got her down. I didn’t think it was ever going to happen. Basically Inien could only counter spell every other heal. I didn’t have enough mana to go on for long, in fact if this was 3.1 we wouldn’t have been successful. At the very end she was low, I got spooky out for the 2nd time and made a final DPS push, between Inien and Puddles and Spooky and I we finally killed her. It was such a relief, and satisfying kill.
It is sad to think I wouldn’t be able to do this in 3.1 though
Or maybe it would have been easier if I had a shadow build I could have switched to I could have done a ton more damage
Was a fun way to end the night anyways.
Hell, It’s About Time

My son was down for a nap so I got on to mess around a bit. I did the cooking daily and decided to see what the cooking daily was in Shatt. Sure enough it was the one I was missing for the achievement. So I ran off to collect mana berries. After completing that achievement I thought I should get the outland cooking achievement. So I set off to find various fish and meat throughout outlands.
I ended up needing one of the rare feltail so I decided to do some highland fishing schools assuming I’d eventually get one. Plus I was getting fishing skill-ups which is all good. I thought very briefly in the back of my mind, oh and I might get mr pinchy (ya right followed of course). Because I did ALOT of fishing of furious crawdads in my time. I used to supply people in guild with all the food I would get. I have never seen the little guy once. Well maybe it was my MUCH higher fishing skill, or maybe it was incredible luck, but I got Mr Pinchy! Simply amazing!
After getting Mr. Pinchy I figured I fished enough highland schools, I think I did about an hour of fishing. I checked with an alt and sure enough the enormous feltail I needed was on the AH for a meer 4.5g. I was willing to pay the price to save time and got it. After that all I needed was some fish from the Deadwind area near Karhazan. Again I fished tons of these things in my time, stupid achievement system!
Anyways I successfully got my outlands cooking achievement. I need to finish off my northrend one now too.
I would really like to end up with my chef title given how much I cook
I would also love the salty title too but that would mean I’d need to win the fishing contest I always forget to go to
Time Consuming
by Laneer on Feb.19, 2009, under Questing
I headed over after I got on to do my sons of hodir dailies, they are getting very time consuming now because there are so many of them. I feel compelled to finish it out though so I keep doing them. I got honored now and so I have even more to do. The one where you harpoon the drake is interesting, I failed the first time I tried it, at least I have levitate
Oh and don’t the blue ladies look ridiculous on a nether ray?
After I did Sons of Hodir I headed over for my Oracle dailies. They aren’t as important, but I did want to start being able to get eggs and try for the pets
I don’t really care if I get the mount at all, after all I think the proto drakes are ugly
It was so late when I got on that I knew there wasn’t time for a dungeon. I did decide to stock back up on my crit food while I was over there. So I did quite a bit of fishing for a bit am almost skilled up all the way. I kept competing with a horde priest that was running around for nodes.
Just before logging I went and made all but my ebon cloth (didn’t have any eternal shadow). This is me making spell cloth at the new location. This is the nifty new animation
