Adventures of a Dwarf Priest

Yes I have been MIA for quite some time.  I some how managed to mess up the site a while back at the same time I ended up not having a shred of free time to do much of anything.  Between the extra hours I have been putting in at work and the at home stuff playtime has been nearly non existent recently.

I did get a chance to play a good run today though!  Inien was on when I jumped on too which hasn’t happened in forever.  The family was in town so the kid was distracted and I managed to get in some good questing.  I did a ton of the 5 man quests with Inien in IceCrown.

In the process of finishing some of these 5 man quests I managed to finally get that last point in staves!  I finally have maxed out all my weapon skills, and this time I did it before the next expansion hehe  There should be an achievement for completed all your skills

Finished all the quests in Icecrown now too.  That was a treat as they were all part of the major theme in WOTLK   They really did do an excellent job of pulling you into the story as they said they were going to.  Next I just need to finish StormPeaks and I finally got them all done.

After finishing all those quests I ended up with some good bank which I promptly spent on a pet   I couldn’t resist the lowest price I had seen on the Broom in a long time The broom is so nifty too.  I think the horde got way better tournament pets than us.

Right now I have a goal of upgrading my squire which means I have to finish getting my exalted (42% away) and get 94 more champion tokens   I was all sad when Inien looked and found out they raised it to 150 instead of the 100 I remember it being from the PTR.

My wife and son were out of the house for a bit so I got in a bit of WoW.  I was starting to go through withdrawals.  I was going through and doing some dailies, finishing some quests and such.  I joined Inien on one then we decided to try a 5 man quest we both had.  Then we ended up doing a string of them no problem.

I’m sure it was a combination of us being very well geared and well being awesome   We had a good time though and made a ton of gold.  Every one of the 5 man quests was paying 22g plus a blue usually.  I have more to do still too, but lunch arrived.  Inien managed to get his Icecrown achievement though, grats!

I did a lot of questing in Icecrown mostly.  I had a good time though, there are a lot of huge quest chains in the zone.  I’m still only like half done with all the quests for that zone.  As my Disc gear is improving so is my PvP/SoL build   It is kind of funny I’m sturdy enough now to tank big elite melee mobs in the 3 person quests

This quest chain pictured here in the screenshot was funny because you go through all of this crap to try and save him from the plague and then the Naaru just come and kill him essentially.  Presumably they are taking him to heaven?    Yay the Naaru are angels . I had a relatively fun day though.  Was just in and out questing, and I made a nice 500g in the process

Of course the day wasn’t all great, I’m sure you heard my screams right?

Yes despite my best efforts at 10am I was over 9000 in the queue.  This time luck was not on my side, not that being early in the queue helped me last time.  They still let people buy 5 tickets which I think is lame and they were all gone by the time I was 6k in the queue.  I’m going to continue my effort to try and win tickets.  Make sure if you haven’t to click on my Mountain Dew banner and sign-up!  Of course worse comes to worse I’ll probably get the Internet stream
