Adventures of a Dwarf Priest

Today’s daily was everyones favorite Heroic Mech.  I sat in the LFG system for a while and eventually got picked up.  The group was quite odd, everyone seemed very geared, yet we were moving at a snails pace.  We had a Mage who was horribly dramatic about sheeping.  Giving us warnings before it was going to break, and then huge exclamations when it did.  Like he wasn’t able to resheep it or something.

It was kind of amusing though, the Mage must have died 4 or 5 times to the Warlock pulling agro.  For some reason the mobs would Instakill the Mage while walking by him to go to the Warlock.

In the end we wiped to the last boss because of that.  The Mage down we had little CC, and mobs were hitting me.  Through a miracle I managed to save us from the last pack, excpet the tank died.  I only had enough time to rez the tank before the boss ran in.

All in all at least I got 6 badges out of the deal

Didn’t do too much productive. After updating the site yesterday I got on and Inian was already up to something so I ended up joining a guild Heroic Mech run. Here Thalios was organizing a screen shot so I of course took one as well for the site It was a fun run because I did Holy DPS instead of healing. Of course I was up against DPSers that far out class my equipment anyways. I was keeping up with Tzalak for a while (only because he is afliction and everything dies too fast) but then I died a few times and he took off past me :bI still had a good time, got some badges. The badges will be the key to me getting some upgraded SOL gear if I can ever get enough of them. A new cloak, ring and bracers are on my list of things to get.Oh and Thalios made me my eternium rod so I finally made my final enchanting rod! I’m still not quite sure what it was for, as far as I saw I could do every enchant with the one I had but I’d need to make it before the expansion probably anyways so it is done now. It had silly mats though but I had everything but the rod which was the easiest part :b

You can almost here the thunder and see the lightning flashing right? Ok so it wasn’t all bad I had 1 good group out of 4, but it seemed like it was a really bad PUG night for me.I started wanting to get my Primal Nethers for my boots, so I looked for a heroic. The people on in the guild were already off doing something so what were my options but a PUG.So I get invited to a Heroic Mech, I watched for a while they couldn’t find any DPS. So I made my pitch (most people don’t believe I can DPS) and they accepted and invited me. I flew up there and me the Warrior, and the Druid healer were all in one instance while the hunter and maybe the warlock were in another. So we all came out, the hunter insisted he hadn’t done a heroic mech in 2 days so the warrior figuring it was a bug made him leader and we all followed him in. We preceded to wipe on the FIRST pull. The second pull we had to run out because the hunter agroed the entire room, and the druid was instagibbed. Then on the 3rd pull the Druid was killed again instantly and I healed through it. Mind you this whole time I’m still out dpsing the hunter and warlock. I think we do one more pull successfully for once and then we get to where we pull the first mini boss guy and he isn’t there… The druid stealths around, the bosses are gone, this is a cleared Mech! The warlock instantly leaves group, we harass the hunter for a bit, and we break up, now I’m saved to a stupid empty mech…So no other heroics going on I give up on that and go for a Durnhold run (still need time faction). Most of the people were not 70 except the warrior, but that was fine. But when we get there the warrior has never done the following quest. He can’t seem to understand he needs to follow the girl around, then later says he doesn’t see her. Finally after 20 minutes I start looking around for another group….Then I get invited to a BM group, this was a all RIVEN guild set except me. We do great, complete everything fast, I only drank in the instance 3 times once before each boss. We sharded all the crap, I got my faction and we left.I should of ended my night on a high note but no I thought hey we have the towers still right, How about an SL group! So I get in one, they are good enough players, I’m in there doing Melee I have to heal so little (improving my mace skill!) we have a paladin tank. We do the first boss and right after the Paladin goes link dead. We wait around for like 10 or 15 minutes he doesn’t come back, there are no tanks of course so I just tell them I’m going to bed.Before I logged I ran over to backup heal some of the guys alts who were doing the Ring of Blood quests even though they apparently didn’t need me. I was there anyways and helped! Then off to bed I went, a fairly sad panada.

Inian and I have been trying to do Mechanar for a quest chain we are on in Shadowmoon forever. We still got a late start but it was Friday so we started a group. I would have prefered a FEST group to a PUG for this but everyone was pretty busy. So we started a LFM and went questing in Blade’s Edge while we waited. After at least 30-45 minutes we FINALLY got a group, with a Druid tank (Yay!).

The Group wasn’t too bad, the hunter didn’t seem like he was very group experienced, and the Rogue seemed like an Ebay rogue. We had an early discussion about which dungeons had keys and he didn’t know anything about any dungeon but added at the end he was keyed for karazhan. Then when we started pulling we got to some demons and he asked the group if he could SAP them….

The Druid was really good, I love Druid tanks as you have read I’m sure. Too many bad experiences with DPS warriors We got our over charged Mana Battery’s but not much else on this run. I hate runs where everything that drops is for all classes you don’t have. The only bright spot (and I mean Bright!) was the cache had the damage Robe for Inian. You can see him here wearing it. He is a beakon of “hey kill that guy” now But at least he has a Robe! Curse Outlands and its fondness for Tunics!

After that we went back to finish up some quests. We had this Cenarion quest over at Deaths Door that rewarded lots of neat neck items. They had a crit item I had to turn away because the healing neck was just too good to pass up I kept my old heal neck for my Damage set still though because of the extra stamina and int for crit

This shot is me on that nifty device the gnomes have to send you around Blade’s Edge. I had wondered how you got around without Flying mounts in that zone We managed to finish up all the Gnome quests before bed and made nearly another 200g for the day. Now we are on the Cenarion quests. I’m at just about 2k gold now. I’m fearful that unless there are a ton of quests in Netherstorm (which there appears to be) I’m gonna fall short of my Epic flying mount. I’m gonna wager to guess I’m gonna have about 3.5k gold after Inian and I manage to finish all the quests which will leave me with quite a bit of farming still.
