Adventures of a Dwarf Priest

I didn’t play much last week because I was in training all week for work and by the time I got home and all I never had the energy to do anything.  Didn’t do too much playing this weekend either.  I have started playing my oldest alt, Fesster the gnome warlock again.  Been trying to get his mining and engineering up so he can make Inian and I injectors to save inventory space

Todays Heroic Daily seemed doable, it was SV so while we went to farm Ogres while we waited for a tank.  It was kind of funny because we merged with another group and just needed the tank.  The finally find one and we go with plenty of time for this instance.  The leader was a Boomkin who was bragging about his over 1k spell damage.  I told Inian I was going to laugh if you still beat him on the damage meters and I wasn’t surprised when he did the entire instance.  Inian managed to beat the epically equipped rogue too.

One issue was I thought this would be fast.  I completely forgot that the first boss is a royal pain in the ass.  First we wiped 3 times getting to her because they wouldn’t listen to me about pulling the water elementals.  Then we wiped 3 times to her as well.  Finaly got her down and finished the rest of the instance really fast.  We did wipe on the last boss once because we didn’t get the first take down.  On non heroic I can heal through 1 or 2 missed tanks but I could not on heroic mode

It was kind of fun with Boomkin aura I was throwing around 7k Gheal crits all over the place.  Plus it was another 5 badges towards my first 150 goal

I started off on Deathwing today and managed to farm enough Silk finally to make my Primal Mooncloth Bag.

That gives me a few new spots in the bank now!   I managed to clear some room as well by taking one of my alts I never play and making him my potion storage.  I get sooooo many potions now thanks to Treasure Detection that my bank was just full of Health and Mana pots.  Inian hasn’t had to make me any ever since they made the boxes have something useful in them.

I looked around for Heroic or Regular Shattered Halls a little later when Inian got on but there was none.  So I decided to go to Akama.

I got on Mooku and ran over and did the first of the Skyguard quests that I had not done yet.  After all I had a silly quest item in my inventory taking up the very little space Mooku has.  Inian eventually joined me on Mooshu and we stirred up quite a bit of trouble in Skettis. A silly hunter killed Mooshu after he had been weakened by several monstrous Kalari and was waiting for him to spawn. So I snuck over there and Mooshu lured him out and we killed the hunter.  For good measure we killed him about another 4 or 5 times lol

Then I preceded to start trouble with all the other alliance in the area it was fun of course   I eventually just decided to finish my quests and we went to see what the instance dailies were.  With luck it happened to be SV, which happens to be the only faction I care about on this character

With that I was the tank, sandwiched between 2 enhancement shamans with some mage CC/DPS and a Holy Paladin healing.  Now I am a little rusty and probably need some practice tanking.  I didn’t do half bad, but the other shaman, not Mooshu was really good at stealing agro from me, he was quite a bit of DPS.  I’m still not very well geared either, on top of needing more tanking practice.  Mooshu and I have done like no instancing, or any of the high level quests so our gear is actually pretty noobish.  We only wiped once though on the first boss because the paladin died in the rain storm

It was pretty fun and I got a useful helmet from the quest lady outside the instance and I’m 50% to revered with the Cenarions.  No other good drops in there though for me.

I felt very accomplished today for some reason. I got on grabbed my cooking daily which happened to send me to Netherstorm which conveniently I was going to make my Spell Cloth anyways.Flew by picked up my usually treasure chests on the way to skettis. Did my bombing of the birdy eggs. Flew over picking up my usual boxes on the way to fire elementals. Got my Primal Fire and headed to Netherstorm. I made my spell cloth real fast an quickly ran over to the eco dome and grabbed the berries for the cooking quest. I turned it in and got fish this time, and got another new recipe!Then Lentulus was talking to me about the PvP daily so I went and did that. We actually owned the first AB I tried so I was impressed.I mostly just sat here guarding and buffing people who came by. The only defense we did was one lowly rogue that came for the LM.After that I did a few EOTS since it is EOTS weekend. I lost two of them 1 very badly and decided I had enough of that. Then I managed to get in a heroic SV for the daily heroic quest. We did it relatively well, though the tank was trying to tell me how to heal which kind of irked me but other than that. We finished and I got my 5 heroics out of it and the quest. I also won a nether off the robot boss, and part of the Narru Heroic quests done. This one required I also kill Murmur in Heroic SL. I haven’t done anything in heroic so its all new to me. Kinda neat but I do find healing Heroics a little stressful.So for the night I ended up with 72 gold, 1 Primal Nether, 1 Spell Cloth, Half a Heroic Naru quest, a new cooking recipe, Cenarion Expedition and Consortium faction! Not a bad night for starting at almost 8pm.

While having little to do with the title of this post I felt the need to share that today I am little more poor. I saw Mana Prime up for sale on the auction house and won it. My intention was to put this on my Time bracers when I finally get all my faction and I didn’t want to have to find someone else to do it for me!I took a visit over to the Shattrath Darkmoon faire. I hadn’t been over to see it since it started showing up in outlands. Plus Inian was over there getting his fortune. He got a fortune with a quest in it, which we think is new.Then I ran over to get some fire motes so I could make my Spell cloth, plus my primal mooncloth. Yes it was cloth day and Inian helped me so that went quickly.Then we wanted to do something real quick. Of course couldn’t find any of our top choices so we ended up managing a SV group. The group wasn’t so bad I was mostly just healing with renew and POM while melee’ing with my Mace. I’m up to 330 mace skill now!Where the robbed comes into play was at the end. We were killing everything in the front without the tank he left, warlock, rouge, me and Inian. When a BOP enchant drops. The +12 stam to bracers, as far as I knew I was the only enchanter and I was so excited. I haven’t got any of the non farmable BOP’s in the game and I immediately need. Then I see in group chat “Can I need that?”, the stupid warlock was an enchanter too! Probably not a very good one! I don’t know why but that made me very sad…Still no BOP enchants for little ol’ Laneer. *sniff*And now the title is explained :b

Well I had a better day today. I got on and had a hard time finding a group. Inian was on and we were looking for something to do. No heroics were going so we joined up with a SV run. We had a DPS warrior and a Druid for a tank. Everyone was such a good player (and probably over geared) that I was able to do the ENTIRE instance without drinking once, and I healed almost entirely with Renew. We also did the instance in just over 30 minutes. I was using some spore fish food and mana oil so I had over 428 mana/5 on me Just wait till next patch when I double my 5 second rule regen. Well almost double I have the 5% from my Primal Mooncloth bonus Plus my bangle!When we were just about finished with our SV run Maehlin sent me a tell wanting me to come heal for Kara. I had been hearing it was a rough Kara but I figured what the hell so I went and joined them after. I joined in after they had a few failed attempts at nightbane and gave up and moved onto the curator. We one shot him, he is pretty easy. I lost the roll on the teir 4 hands again :bThe only other boss we did was Aran because it was so late and everyone was beat from the tough Kara I’m very glad I wasn’t in most of :b We wiped on the first try to Aran, and then someone accidentally agroed him before we all got back and part of the raid wiped again. He even ran out the door to try and kill me luckly as I ran away he went back in his room and deagroed hehe We were able to finish him off on the 3rd try, isn’t that the charm? Nothing good dropped though but I was able to get the quest item for the part of the chain I’m on.Then we went to bed I decided to turn in the quest tomorrow. I hope to remember to go to the fishing contest as well tomorrow!

I had jumped on shortly after I got home and was just going to go farm Air Motes when someone was calling for those armor quests. They specifically needed a priest so I decided why not I can always do again with Inian. So we started off specifically with the armor which turned out to be the only hart one. The cloak and whatever the other piece is was easy. This guy wasn’t really hard he just hit like a truck.

I had taken a break for dinner and stuff. Just as I got on I found out Inian and joined up with a Steamvault run. I decided to go with. They already had a Priest, but he was shadow so it was ok. I of course love to group with shadow priests anyways.

Turns out this shadow priest really sucked, and was horribly unfun to group with. He rarely used VE, I only saw him use VT a few times on the boss, never pushed POM off with SWD and constantly got aggro. We did manage to finish the instance though and the really ugly healing staff dropped which I got. Only going to use it till I can get the quested on with mana/5 on it.
